New 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class - Clown Face
Submitted by peter on 9 July, 2013 - 12:34.The all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class was launched recently. While nobody seems to be arguing over the technical strengths of the car, it seems that some of the design features of the car are causing some divided opinions.
Here are some reasons why I am not a fan of the S-Class design:

Another Killer Premium Brand Car Strikes
Submitted by peter on 11 July, 2011 - 21:27.Charn Thaiphadungpong, 57, dropped his nephew off at Temrak Suksa School in Nonthaburi. Then he had some problem with his car, and as a result of this problem he lost control of the car in the school campus and ran the car into a group of 20 sixth-grade students, killing one and injuring 6 others, two of them seriously.
How did this happen?
Why Are Thai Cars So Boring?
Submitted by peter on 18 February, 2011 - 21:44.Thailand is an amazing country, full of verity and choice. Fruit, for many western countries, means that you will be looking at apples, oranges, bananas, and seasonal berries most of which are imported anyway. In contrast, Thailand offers a staggering array of locally grown fruits.
The country is blessed with natural beauty that attracts millions of tourists annually. And by and large Thailand is a very interesting place to visit, complete with a rich and proud history and culture. But.... this is a car site. And writing about Cars in Thailand isn't always all that interesting. In fact, truth be told, the Thai auto market is bland as can be.
Why is this the case? Do Thai's not have good Taste in cars?
Chevrolet Biodiesel Ready, Mercedes-Benz Too
Submitted by peter on 2 March, 2008 - 18:38.General Motors (GM) Thailand Ltd has announced biodiesel compatibility for all Chevrolet diesel vehicles in Thailand. In effect this means that the diesel version of the Captiva and the Colorado pick-up truck are both capable of using B2 and B5 biodiesel without any problems.
According to a press release from GM Thailand, using the B2 and B5 fuels will not cause any harmful or damaging effects to the engines, and that the engines "will retain both the powerful performance and cost efficiency that owners have come to expect from Chevy diesel powerplants."

C-Class shows some class

It's official. I now consider the BMW 3-Series to be the least desirable car in its class. The C-Class held that title even when the new 3-series came along looking like each of the panels had been designed by a different person in a different country, and then welded together by someone before they stepped back to take a look at the ugly results. Sure I'm being harsh, the 3-Series isn't the ugliest car in the world, the 1-Series claims that prize, but in its segment the 3-Series is visually unappealing.
The C-Class, while not being quite as ugly as the 3-Series, remained too boring to have any appeal at all.
Today all that has changed!
