Bangkok Post Reviews Lotus Evora in Thailand
Submitted by peter on 10 January, 2010 - 01:05.The Bangkok Post has a video posted on their site of the Lotus Evora on Thai roads. The Evora is probably the coolest Lotus in the last 10 years.
Although all the "reviewer" does is confirm that it is a Lotus, and that the steering wheel, and other aspects of the car are "well... very Lotus", I'm posting this because I love the noise this Toyota V6 makes, when they eventually allow us to listen to it towards the end of the "review".

The Lotus Exige is the perfect track car. It would be unfair to subject it to Bangkok roads!

Tiny and lightweight, the Lotus Exige provides super-car performance levels from a 1.8 liter mid-mounted engine. And it looks the part too.

It's hard not to like cars like the Lotus Elise R and Exige S. They offer super-car performance to the masses with very reasonable price-tags (in the UK at least) considering the blistering performance they are capable of.
Finally enthusiasts in Thailand have access to the Elise and Exige via importer, and authorised distributor Niche Cars. Within the next 12 months, Niche Cars plan to add additional models to their Lotus line-up, including the Exige Cup 255, Elise S and 2-Eleven.
